AmbassadorsThe Ambassador Alliance
The Ambassador Alliance was formed in 2003 to be a network of networks. To date, there are over 170 Ambassador alumni who have completed the Program, including the current 17 ambassadors, the Ambassador network totals close to 187 Native American leaders. These leaders work in every field from tribal chairman to lawyers, healthcare professionals, professors, artists, non-profit directors, social workers and musicians. Together they represent over one-hundred tribes and spread across thirty-six states. A complete list of Ambassador alumni, along can be found at www.aio.org/directory.html. The Alliance is a new generation of Native Americans that are working together to confront new and daunting obstacles in Indian Country. This alumni organization serves as a think tank on pressing issues such as globalization and tribal enrollment. |
